This spring, our newest collection brings a kaleidoscope of color to our line. Our Kaleidoscope Collection merges clean and sharp designs with prismatic colors—multifaceted styles for our multifaceted customers. You, much like a kaleidoscope, have beauty far beyond the face you present to the world. Your inner beauty is what makes you shine. Your unique mix of thoughts and ideas. The complicated, imaginative, wonderful intrinsic value you bring to the world. And when the world turns upside down, twists and turns—you simply find the light and see a new, but equally beautiful being on the other side. You, my darling, are a kaleidoscope. And we wanted to celebrate that.
This season’s new designs were named after the spirit of kaleidoscopic women. Women who saw the world differently or saw the potential for a different world. We hope their spirits inspire you to look at life as beautiful patterns coming together to form a mosaic unique to you. As something worth shaking up every once in a while. We rolled out this collection differently, spreading out the excitement and joy that comes with shopping new sapahn. This season, our Spring 2022 Collection debuted in two separate releases. This approach not only extended all the fun that comes with new colors and styles, but also gave our artisans the time they needed to handcraft each and every piece and ensured fair employment for this community as they continue to recover from the devastating economic effects of Covid.
We can't wait to share the full collection with you, with four new styles and two designs back from the archives (and restocks of all our best sellers)! A note from our founder:
We just recently celebrated 12 years of sapahn, and gosh has it been a beautiful journey. As I thought about our Spring 2022 Collection that would come shortly after, I wanted to convey the changes we have gone through in those 12 years. We started as something new, something completely different than where I saw my career path taking me. I never set out to be a designer, I just wanted to do something good, something beautiful. I wanted to shake things up a bit and cause change.
Have you ever looked through a kaleidoscope? The beautiful colors and light bouncing off each other, forming shapes and patterns you couldn’t have dreamt up on your own? I see sapahn in that way. I started with a vision, and along the way, different people, thoughts, ideas, and goals were added to the mix, that brought their own light, their own energy. And over 12 years, of course there are going to be some unknowns that brought twists and turns, too. What will always remain, throughout all the change, is that original mission we had—do something beautiful. With this collection, we hope you find inspiration to find that beautiful thing that makes you light up, and go out and do it.
