WARRANTY

Sapahn products are all handcrafted by highly skilled artisans using the highest quality leather and materials. With a balance of form and function, every style is constructed to last a long time. We stand by the high quality of our products. In the rare instance of a defect in the hardware or construction within a year of purchase, we’ll either repair it or replace it and cover shipping! We also offer lifetime replacement on our signature Omega hardware pieces.


If you are outside the window of a year from the original purchase date, please still reach out to us! We want to ensure the long use of your bag and lengthen the life cycle of every product. Outside of the warranty period, we also offer repair service, most of which come at a nominal cost. Caring for your leather and making these small repairs are a great option for making your purchase even more sustainable. We sell a trusted leather care product as well.


Please start your warranty claim by using the form below. If you purchased directly from our flagship store, website, or at an event we participated in, you will be in our system and we can verify that you are within the coverage period. If you purchased outside of our direct channels, you will need to show proof of the original purchase to qualify.

  • What does the warranty cover?

Our warranty covers any defects in the hardware or in the construction. These defects are very rare. Since our products are handmade, there is a human element to every piece—a beautiful thing—and we all know humans can make mistakes (but our artisans are so very skilled in their craft this is an infrequent occurrence). 


This includes:

  • Hardware that does not serve its intended purpose or prevents usability of the bag
  • Blatant errors, tears, or cuts in materials used that render the bag unusable or causes the bag not to function as intended
  • Any broken components under normal use within the coverage period.

  • What falls outside the scope of the one-year warranty?

Our warranty covers products used under normal conditions, for the intended purpose. It does not cover damage from normal wear and tear, or neglect. The following are not within warranty: 

  • General wear and tear 
  • Damage resulting from improper care
  • Natural variances and imperfections in the leather
  • Damage resulting from modification of the product 
  • Stains or color transfer from clothing dye, beverages, or inclement weather

  • Repair Service

Outside of our warranty, we are so happy to offer customers our repair service. Sapahn will facilitate the repair and return your product to you; Customers are responsible for shipping. We will communicate the cost of the repair to you and invoice you for the repair and return shipping.
