The Legacy Behind The Bags
Starting with my first collection, it’s been my favorite tradition to name every new bag design after an influential woman in my life. I wanted to name the bags after the women in my life who were my role models and symbolized strength, beauty, and courage. I continue to name the bags after women who helped shape who I am today.
I was inspired to pay homage to the women who have given her the creativity and strength to pursue designing and starting Sapahn. We do not become who we are by ourselves; it is the women who influence us that help us along the journey to becoming ourselves.
Our bags are a constant reflection and reminder of where we are today and who helped us get there. Through our legacy of naming bags after women, we recognize and commemorate them. Building these points of reflection into my life is important to me, and I’ve always wanted Sapahn’s buttery-soft leather handbags to be a beautiful reminder of someone inspiring and encouraging.
