Christmas music & holiday cheer was in full force at the Kansas City Holiday Mart Show last weekend! It's one of our favorites of the year because of all the traditions, the friends we've made along the way, and the good holiday cheer. That goes without saying yes, we absolutely adore our time on the floor and getting a chance to be face to face with all of you, but man does Monday require some good R&R after these shows which are sometimes 4 days long and many lasting as long as 12 hours...so, maybe your feet hurt, you go through lots of water, and your smile needs lots of chapstick. We used to feel like we had room to complain until we met our new vendor crush.
We would like to introduce you to Jessi Corriston and her adorable co-pilot aka : son, 7 month old Ellis. She and her husband are the founders and owners of a stunning little business Little Bug Baby Designs
Ellis worked the entire show with his mama. The phrase "it takes a village" has never been more true. Not only did we all work long hours but vendors were coming up to take Ellis throughout the whole show when it looked like his mom needed a break.
This added a new aspect to the show for us and it couldn't come at a better time. We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of "Baby Sapahn" and have a long list of how we will become a business with a baby of our own. Stay tuned... we think Baby Sapahn will be here before we know it and we can't wait to introduce all of you!
Our other vendor crush is Emily Bordner leather artist behind EB Leather out of KC. Her leather clutches are minimalist gems. And, her instagram page is dreamy.
Another highlight of the weekend were all the lovely customers who stopped by to wish Brooke and Baby well wishes. I know her heat was filled receiving all your greetings and cute pictures. Moments like this is what makes this bridge so alive.
KC we're coming for you next weekend at the Holiday Boutique Show in Overland Park, KS. Booth #702.
